Public beta change record · Canonical contract changes are labelled separately

What changed, when, and what did not.

This record separates interface additions from canonical Nexus contract changes. A new convenience feature does not silently change the ten-gate evaluator.

4 September 2026

  • Opened the compatibility utility as a public beta with crawlable pages, canonical URLs, public operator details, and reviewed privacy and terms pages.
  • Added a browser-local MCP metadata mapper that outputs a noncanonical, incomplete review workbench.
  • Added a RunSAVE referral acknowledgement with a fixed source marker and no payload transfer.
  • Added a post-report local provider-preview preparation pack for both blocked and compatible completed checks.
  • Added MCP readiness, privacy, terms, and diagnostic research-method pages.
  • Kept preview intake, provider onboarding, listing, verification, publication, and searchability visibly unavailable.
Canonical evaluator unchanged

The frozen v1 manifest, search-request, and compatibility-report schemas and the ten hard-gate decision remain unchanged by this release.

Hosted baseline

The earlier private release introduced synchronized Guided and Expert views, immutable submitted snapshots, stale-report protection, three labelled synthetic buyer profiles, canonical report download, and a separately documented machine API contract.

Entries are based on repository changes, not generated release marketing.
